This is a leadership focused tennis course that consists of face-to-face learning, practical on court experience and online learning. Throughout the course you will develop communication skills, teamwork skills, confidence and the ability to solve problems. You will be expected to be professional throughout the course and be a role model for younger children. You will be given opportunities to plan with others and deliver with support part of a tennis lesson. This will follow examples shared by your coaches. The whole course will be about six hours long with four hours delivered at Bamford Tennis Club, Derbyshire. Successful participants will be awarded a certificate upon completion. This course is aimed at secondary aged children and provides an excellent addition to improve their CV.
Camp notes
General information
-Time: 9:00am - 13:00pm
-Sign in on arrival in the clubhouse 15 minutes before the course starts.
-If the weather is deemed unfit for outdoor activities, we may need to cancel the camp at short notice.
-Please bring: Sporting attire, non marking soles, racket (one can be borrowed if needed), waterproofs, water bottle and a snack (please avoid any nut based foods), pen.
